Manaslu Circuit Trek Permit

Before beginning your Manaslu Circuit Trekking, you must be aware of four necessary permissions. The four permits listed below are crucial ones that you must require during Manaslu Circuit Trek.

1. Annapurna Conservation Area Project Permit ( ACAP)

To proceed with the Annapurna Conservation Area Project, one of the most crucial permits you must obtain is ACAP. Similarly, you may obtain this permission if you have the required documentation and a valid passport. It would help if you crossed through this region to go to the Beshi Sahar after entering the Dharapani. The Annapurna Conservation Area covers the region in between these two towns. Getting an ACAP Permit will cost about USD 30 for each individual.

Additionally, this permission won’t pose any issues for the additional days you stay in this location. So there won’t be a day’s limit, and it will be simpler to navigate the Annapurna Conservation Area.

2. Special Restricted Area Permit For Manaslu (SRAP)

There is a restricted region that you must pass through to continue on the Manaslu Circuit Trekking. To do so, you must obtain an MRAP. The Area through which Jagat, Bhimtang, and Dharapani pass are under the restricted Area; hence you will also need to obtain this permit along with the route from Jagat to Dharapani.

The fee of this permit also varies according to how long you stay in the Area. Additionally, the first week, which consists of seven days, will cost about USD 75 per person from December to August. Additional days will cost around USD 10 extra. Similarly, from September to November, the first week’s cost will be around USD 100, and each additional week’s cost will be roughly USD 15. Therefore, the permit cost between December and August is less expensive than between September and November. As a result, once you have the SRAP, you can move freely from Jagat to Dharapani without any constraints.

3. Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP)

The Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP) will provide you with absolute autonomy to trek across the Area. This permit is good for Manaslu Region, and the conservation area begins at the Philim. You must pay roughly USD 30 for this permit; there are no additional costs for Manaslu Circuit Trekking days spent going through this region.

4. Trekker’sr’sformation Management System (TIMS)

You would also require TIMS in a case for Manaslu Circuit Trekking. For a fee of USD 20 per person, you may get this permit in Pokhara and Kathmandu. Similarly, since this is required yet can readily obtain from these two distinct places, there won’t be any issues with it. This will be required when you have all three permits.
