Summer Season

From June to August, the downpour is heavy making this season unviable to visit Nepal. People rather stay inside their home and enjoy rainfall from inside than travelling around. Moreover, numerous natural calamities like landslide, flood and soil erosion occur during monsoon season. Besides, the temperature rises to 45° Celsius when not raining making too hot to travel.

However, some travelers still explore certain areas of Nepal because the biodiversity is abundance in monsoon season. In addition, few trekking areas viz Tilicho Lake and Marsyangdi Valley are significantly green displaying great views. You might want to experience a beautiful summer in a beautiful place.

What to pack?

The season comes with the biggest festival of Nepal, Dashain and Tihar, making Nepalese go shopping and enjoy holidays. In lower altitude, the day time is not as cold as in the mountains. Unlikely, in morning and night time the temperature drops giving chills all over the places. The lowlands of Nepal experiences misty morning and late sunrise making it difficult to go for jungle activities or sightseeing.
