I flew to Pokhara from Kathmandu, and I found it far cleaner and more manageable than Kathmandu. The streets were in excellent condition, with no traffic congestion. I was truly amazed once I began my trek. Every village where we stopped for an overnight stay offered outstanding facilities and reliable Wi-Fi. I genuinely believe Nepal Telecommunication could provide some valuable insights to telecom companies in Australia! I thoroughly enjoyed the tranquillity and the richness of Nepalese culture. I wish I could spend my entire life here, but for now, I only look forward to returning for my next trek.

I really have to admire the dedication of the porters, who carried our gear and walked alongside us for such a long time. Our guide was both inspiring and well-organised. ItalyThe Annapurna Base Camp trek was an easy-grade trek for me. We walked through steep hills, rocky paths, and forested trails. The Annapurna Trek is very popular in Nepal, along with the Everest Base Camp Trek. The trek routes were blessed with pristine mountain views and stunning scenery. I trekked to ABC in the most favorable month, July. You can also plan your trip from late February to May or late October to early December. To start the trek, you’ll need TIMS and ACAP permits, which can be obtained in Pokhara, allowing you to begin your trek the following day.
If you prefer trekking in winter, make sure to bring chains or spikes for your shoes to navigate the snowy paths safely.
Overall, I had an excellent experience trekking to ABC with Peregrine Treks. I highly recommend booking your trip with Peregrine if you’re planning to visit Nepal. Thank you!

AustraliaIt was a pleasure to trek with Nepal’s fantastic trekking organization. Both in Kathmandu and Pokhara, the accommodations were superb. The rooftop view was fantastic, and I got to see the breathtaking panoramic perspective of the city. Along with that, following our guide’s lead also took us to the picturesque lake of the Phewa and Begnas. Also outstanding was the boating there. Similar to how the delicious food at the Chhomrong teahouses was something remarkable. There were also traditional foods for sale, like chapati and yomari. Similarly, we had a delicious traditional Dal, Vat, with chicken roasts. Similarly, the natural vista of the Hiunchli, Manaslu, and Annapurna Base Camp Trek remained with us throughout the trek.

I’ll never forget the flavor of the meals at the teahouses on the banks of the Modi River. The trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp on the edge of the Modi River is another activity that I particularly appreciated. This entire voyage combined the natural elements and many other things, making it an experience of a lifetime.
