Next, select your aquatic escapade. Dive into Wadi Shab’s clear pools and dramatic gorges, or venture through Wadi Tiwi’s cascading waterfalls and verdant palm groves. Both choices offer a refreshing break and picturesque vistas.

Arrive in Sur and check into your accommodation. After an early dinner, prepare for an evening under the stars at the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve. The paved area in front of the souq comes alive with a vibrant atmosphere. Owners bring reluctant goats, sheep, and cows to the market, creating a colorful spectacle. Stalls are adorned with an array of dresses, toys, pots, and pans in kaleidoscopic hues.

Follow the crowd to the open-air goat market, nestled under the shade of palm trees. Here, you’ll encounter long-haired Omani goats and woolly sheep patiently awaiting their turn to be showcased to potential buyers. It’s a lively and authentic experience that provides insight into Oman’s rural life.

Next, venture to the renowned Nizwa Fort, situated at the heart of the city. This ancient fort stands as a tribute to Oman’s architectural legacy, providing insight into its storied past.
