Upon arrival, the Nepal Helicopter Tour Package begins with our representative warmly welcoming you at the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. On that day, you move to the designated hotel for some relaxation. Nepal Heli Tour begins on the second day of your arrival from Kathmandu to the eastern part of Nepal.

  • Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival

    Our representative will warmly receive you with a welcome note at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. You will travel to Dhulikhel Mount Resort, situated 30 kilometers from the airport.

    You can spend this day resting at your hotel. Please note that the itinerary on this day depends upon your arrival time. If you arrive before 14:00, you will stay at Dwarika Hotel, Dhulikhel, or the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kathmandu.

  • Day 02: Fly from Dhulikhel/Kathmandu to Everest View Hotel, Syangboche, Solukhumbu

    The day starts with a delicious local breakfast. Then we take off to Syangboche, Solukhumbu, in an hour-long helicopter flight. You can see a clear view of Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Amadablam, and other peaks like Tawche, Nangbala, Tashi Lhaptsa, etc.

    This day is for acclimatization, as you will visit higher altitudes in the following days. On that day, you will explore Sherpa villages (Khude and Khumjung) and possibly see the wildlife and vegetation in Sagarmatha National Park.

  • Day 03: Fly from Syangboche to Gokyo to Kalapathar to Khumbila to Chukung to Lukla to Kathmandu

    We fly to Gokyo valley after breakfast at Everest View Hotel, Syangboche. In Gokyo valley, there are 19 Gokyo freshwater lakes. We can easily see the biggest glacier globally, “Ngozempa Glacier.” We can also see Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Makalu, Mount Cho Oyu, and Nuptse from Gokyo Ri.

    Our next destination is Kala Patthar, famous for the clear view of Mount Everest and the Khumbila glacier. The next destination is Khumbila Pass, above 5000 meters from sea level. Finally, the day ends, and you will fly back to Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kathmandu.

  • Day 04: Fly from Kathmandu to Manang to Thorang High Camp to Thorang La Pass to Muktinath to Pokhara

    After breakfast in the morning, you will fly to Mustang. It lies in the north of the Annapurna Himalayan range. You can see beautiful scenes of Annapurna II, III, IV, Mount Gangapurna, Gangapurna Lake, 500 years old Monastery, and Milarepa cave.

    From Manang, the helicopter will fly towards Thorang High Camp via Thorang La pass. This is the highest pass in the Annapurna Circuit and resides at 5416 meters from sea level.

    The next destination is the very famous Muktinath Temple. At Muktinath temple, you will see the 108 stone water taps. The belief is that anyone who takes a bath in all those taps will acquire salvation, and all past sins will wash away.

    Finally, the last destination for the day will be Nepal’s most famous tourist destination, “Pokhara.” You can see the nightlife beside Phewa lake, try different cuisines and drinks and relax at the Fishtail lodge within the lake area.

  • Day 05: Fly from Pokhara to Rara to Bhairahawa to Chitwan

    The day will start with flying towards the biggest lake in Nepal, the Rara Lake in Mugu district, located in the western region of Nepal. It resides at an altitude of 2990 meters above sea level. From Rara lake, you will fly to the famous Buddhist pilgrimage “Lumbini,” which is Lord Buddha’s birthplace.

    The sightseeing of Lumbini consists of stupas, monasteries made by different countries, Ashoka Pillar, Maya Devi Temple, Museum, etc. The next destination is Megauli Serai, A Taj Safari (or similar resorts) near Chitwan National Park.

    After reaching the resort and settling into your rooms, you have dinner with the cultural program. You can enjoy a delicious dinner made from local items with the indigenous cultural show performed by Tharu Community.

  • Day 06: Exploring Chitwan National Park

    On this day, you will explore the Chitwan National Park. We will arrange a wildlife jeep safari from Meghauli Serai, A Taj Safari. On the safari, you will witness unique species of animals, such as the One-Horned Rhino, Asian Elephant, Royal Bengal Tiger, etc.

    You will also see the Ghariyals resting on the banks of the river that flows through the jungle. The day’s activities come to an end after the wildlife safari. Then you will head towards the hotel for lunch. Then you will be flying back to Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kathmandu. The tour comes to a wrap as we organize a farewell dinner for you with drinks and sharing of experiences.

  • Day 07: Departure from Kathmandu

    On the last day, you will go sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. You may utilize this time for souvenir shopping, as well.     To confirm the trek/tour package, we want a deposit of at least 20% of the total tour/trek fee. The remaining balance must be paid when you arrive in Nepal. We take Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express, and other major credit cards. The total cost of a Bhutan and Tibet tour must be paid in full at the time of booking.

    We strongly advise you to purchase a SIM card for reliable internet access throughout Nepal. Nepal Telecom (owned by the government) and NCELL (owned by the private sector) are the two main SIM card providers in Nepal. It is preferable to get a SIM card at an airport, where staff will assist with activation and data plan purchases. If you have a SIM card, it will be easier for you to contact us and locate our airport agent.

    You can charge your electrical devices at hotels and lodges because there are no power outages. In the Himalayan region, however, hotel owners may levy a nominal fee.

    Nepal Helicopter Tour is a private tour package, so it can depart anytime once the minimum number of people is confirmed. There should be at least two people confirmed to make one group. If not, a 10000 USD single supplement charge applies. If four people are confirmed in one group, a special discount of 10% on the total amount is applicable. One private doctor and one helicopter ambulance are designated for more than ten people for the entire tour.

    Best time to travel

    The suitable time to travel for the Nepal Helicopter tour package is March – to June and September – to November. At this time, the view of the Himalayas will be the clearest compared to other months of the year. However, please note that these months are the best suited, but it’s not a compulsion to visit during those months.     Altitude

    In the Nepal Helicopter tour, you will fly at higher altitudes reaching around 5000 meters above sea level.
