Short Everest Base Camp Trek Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01: Fly to Lukla (2860m / 9383ft) -30 min; Trek to Phakding (2610m / 8563ft), 3 to 4 hours

    The private vehicle will bring us to the TIA Airport in Kathmandu in the morning, where we will board the flight to Lukla.   • Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m / 11286ft), 5 to 6 hours

    The exquisite morning breakfast amid the mist of the clouds and mountains refreshes us. As we leave Phakding, we will now proceed uphill. We will follow the route from the Dudh Koshi River’s shore until we reach Jorsale. After traversing the whole Sagarmatha National Park area, Jorsale emerges. We will eventually arrive at the Namche Bazaar after crossing the suspension bridge. The breathtaking Sherpa Settlement with Everest and Lhotse on the horizon will amaze you.   • Day 03: Trek to Tengboche (3870m / 12697ft), 4 to 5 hours

    The trial will take us north towards the Pangboche after leaving the Namche Bazaar early morning. We will first stop to recover and take in the breathtaking surroundings of the Pangboche before moving on to the Tengboche. The trial going to Phunkethata and Debuche provides picturesque mountain panoramas of Thamserku and Kanchenjunga to the east. Here in Tengboche, we will visit one of the phenomenal Tengboche Monasteries and enjoy the stunning view of Ama Dablam and Everest. Tengboche is where we will spend the night.

  • Day 04: Trek to Dingboche (4410m / 14469), 5 to 6 hours

    On this day, the elevation will rise further. Our footsteps will proceed gently in the direction of the Dingboche after the delicious breakfast. As we approach the settlement in the Imja Khola Valley, we will pass past several monasteries with prayer wheels, flags, and artwork on the walls. After eating lunch and making the different hour-plus trek, we will arrive at Dingboche, where we will spend the night.

  • Day 05: Trek to Lobuche (4910m / 16109ft), 5 to 6 hours

    In the shadow of the Himalayas, breakfast will be fantastic with exquisite tea and toast. Moving forward, the white faces of the giant Himalayas to the north get closer. As we cross the Dughla, we will move into the foothills of the Himalayas. There will also be a statue commemorating the legendary trekkers who lost their lives in the Everest region. From there, trekking slightly to the north, we will finally hit the Lobuche, where we will spend the night.

  • Day 06: Trek to Gorakshep (5164m / 16942ft) – EBC (5364m / 17598ft) and back to Gorakshep, 6 to 7 hours

    The cool breeze from the Himalayas awakens us early in the morning. We will be heading north from Lobuche to reach the deep Khumbu area. Following the trial from the Khumbu Glacier, we will ascend to Gorakshep. After making the hotel reservations, we will continue our ascent toward the Everest Base Camp. Despite a slight uphill portion, the trek will be a little twisty. We will spend some time near Everest Base Camp photographing the surrounding Himalayas and Khumbu Region. Moreover, we will gradually descend from the EBC to Gorakshep and spend the night there.

  • Day 7: Trek to Kala Patthar (5550m / 18209ft) and trek back to Pheriche (4240m / 13911ft), -7 hours

    After waking early, we will move swiftly toward the Kalapathhar. From the Khumbu Glacier’s edge up to Kala Patthar, we can witness a splendid sunrise with cloudless skies. After taking in the breathtaking vista of Ama Dablam, Pumori, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Makalu, we will descend back to the valley. We will be able to admire the majestic Imja Tse and Lhotse Glaciers as we descend from the south. Within a few hours, we’ll arrive at the picturesque Pheriche Valley, where we’ll spend the night.

The flight will take us across breathtaking scenery, valleys, and gorges. Within 30 minutes, we will arrive in Kathmandu, where this trip will close.     To confirm the trek/tour package, we want a deposit of at least 20% of the total tour/trek fee. The remaining balance must be paid when you arrive in Nepal. We take Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express, and other major credit cards. The total cost of a Bhutan and Tibet tour must be paid in full at the time of booking.

    We strongly advise you to purchase a SIM card for reliable internet access throughout Nepal. Nepal Telecom (owned by the government) and NCELL (owned by the private sector) are the two main SIM card providers in Nepal. It is preferable to get a SIM card at an airport, where staff will assist with activation and data plan purchases. If you have a SIM card, it will be easier for you to contact us and locate our airport agent.
