Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

One of our team members will be waiting for you at Tribhuvan International Airport with an explained greeting. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, our frontman will drive you inside the hotel through an arrangement for a private car.

A twin sharing bedroom is available for you with the source of WIFI and electricity inside it. After getting done with your refreshments, you can set out for sightseeing around Thamel market.

The market is full of Nepali handicraft materials. A higher number of tourists walk around the street and rejoice in their time. You can experience the local Nepali dishes or the continental cuisines in the restaurants of the busy Thamel market. Once you finish your dinner, you must get back to the hotel to prepare for the next trip.

However, if you choose the private bedroom without your company, then you must inform our agency. You must charge an extra $200 for your expenses. As per the costs included in the trip by the agency, the price of dinner is not included there. Hence, you must expense the supper cost by yourself on this day.

Day 2: Bus Drive to Syabrubesi

Here comes the second day of your trip. With an early morning breakfast, you must head towards Syabrubesi. Now you will be following the ridge of Trishuli until you reach Dunche and enter Langtang Valley.

Once you enter the Rauswa district, the track of Syabrubesi comes near. After a drive of 7-8 hours in the tourist bus, you reach Syabrubesi passing Nuwakot. Once you enter the Rauswa district, the track of Syabrubesi comes near. The village waits for your entry, where the local eco-lodge provides your accommodation for a night.

Day 3: Trek Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel

Day 4: Trek Lama Hotel to Mundu

As it is only the second day of the trek, the glory of nature waits for you. With breakfast in the morning, the pathway leads you to the departure from Lama Hotel and arrives towards Mundu village. The slightly uphill path follows and crosses the forest trail by exploiting the utmost lands of settlement of Tibetans in the past.

However, now the zone is inhabited by the Nepal army, but there is no permanent settlement. Moving forward, you get to bind with the Langtang village that was destroyed in 2015, and there are no permanent settlements currently.

After crossing Ghoda Tabela at 3000 meters, you must walk for an hour to reach the village of Mundu. Here, you can observe the primary settlement of the small town in the past.

However, most of the houses have been rebuilt with modern technologies after the destruction of the village by the earthquake. Spend your overnight in Mundu Village.

Day 5: Trek Mundu to Kyanjin Gompa

During the marching trail away from Mundu, your next station is at Kyanjin Gompa. The extensive valley leads you towards the Yak grassland that grants you intensive beauty.

Furthermore, you get to interact with small streams on the way. With an average of walking 2 hours on this day, you get a facile afternoon in the village.

Once you reach Kyanjin Gompa, you can find the nearby cheese factory operated by the government. The best place to rest for snacks and lunch.

Kyanjin also offers many small monasteries of the Buddhist religion. Besides, the blot is suitable for the view from the Langshisha Kharka. You must stay overnight around the settlement of Kyanjin.

The tea houses or lodges will take care of your dinner and accommodation for the night. You can direct the chef of the respective spot for the sort of food you wish.

However, the guides prefer the traditional dish of Nepali, Dal Bhaat, most of the time. After dinner, you can utilize your spare time to explore the village territory.

Day 6: Trek Kyanjin Gompa – Tserko Ri – back to Kyanjin Gompa

Today is the day for you to get to a maximum elevation by marching around Langtang Valley. After breakfast, you must head towards Tserko Ri for the spectacular eyeshot of the Manaslu, Langtang, and Ganesh Himal.

Once you descend to Lama Hotel from Kyanjin, reaching there takes about 6 – 7 hours. Hence, this is the reason you must pack your bags and leave the settlement in the early morning with breakfast.

Once again, you get down the trail following the lead of Langtang River and reach Mundu and Ghore Tabela. On the way, you can rejoice with the expedition with lunch. Now, you must step down towards Lama Hotel before it gets evening.

Stepping your feet once again inside the bamboo and rhododendron forest gives the exotic feeling of the previous days. However, you are gradually leaving the stunning peaks behind. Here, Lama Hotel waits for you once again with cozy lodging and dinner on the table.

Day 8: Trek Lama Hotel – Syabrubesi

On the eighth day of the track, you must leave the Lama Hotel behind with an early breakfast. Pack all your bags as it is your last day of marching in the Langtang Valley trek.

The path descends you towards the final evening in the Langtang region. Once you get to Syabrubesi, you are supposed to spend your overnight in the eco-friendly lodge.

However, getting to know the flora remains in front of your eyesight at the station. As the last night, rejoice at the moment with your accompany and get mentally prepared to leave the astonishing beauty behind.

Day 9: Bus Drive to Kathmandu

Here comes the day for you to leave behind the marching. However, the memories that you created last throughout your lifetime. Get on the tourist bus, leaving the lodge of Syabrubesi behind.

After a driving route of 7 – 8 hours, you reach back to Kathmandu. However, the gift of creation still offers you a breathtaking waterfall journey during the drive.

Once you get back to Kathmandu, your leisure time is all yours. Spend it the way you want once our team drops you inside the hotel at Thamel.

Day 10: Sighting around Kathmandu Valley

On the last day of sightseeing around the land of nature, our team manages for you to get going for an excursion. Due to the diversity in trails, sometimes it is impossible to find internet and electricity while walking. However, you may have to charge your expenses for internet and electricity facilities for the duration of trekking.

Meals

It is important to clarify that during Langtang Valley Trekking, Peregrine Trek affords breakfast while you are in Kathmandu along with three meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner trekking. It means that when you are in Kathmandu, you must pay bills for lunch and dinner with personal expenses.

When you set out from your comfort zone, especially for vacation, we realize that you miss your home food. There is never a problem for you to find your desired dishes while you are in Kathmandu. However, in the local lodges, you can direct the chef of the teahouses to get your wanted cuisine.

Most of the teahouses can help you with your continental dishes as well. But we recommend you at least experience the traditional dishes. However, most of the guides prefer Daal Bhaat, the traditional dish, as it gives the stamina to go further on trekking trails.

Essential Information about Langtang Valley Trekking

1. Visa Details

There are definite rules set by the government of Nepal for non-Nepali citizens. However, Indians do not require a visa for entrance inside Nepal. For others, the Passport must contain at least one of the empty pages for the process of a tourist visa. Moreover, your Passport must have validation of at least six months at the period of entry.

For entry and exit, you need currency of US$ 5000; no pure uncorked gold up to 50 grams of gold jewelry, or 500 grams of silver. 15 15-day visa costs US $25 and allows you multiple entries within a certain period.

The visa extension fee within a valid visa period is US$3 per day. A Visa extension with multiple entrances costs an additional US$25. In the case of a visa extension, after it expires, the late fee is US$5 per day. You can also apply for a visa online by going to the official Nepali immigrant site of the country.

2. Getting there and away

Once you arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport, one of our frontmen will be available to receive you by private car. From there, you must directly get a check-in inside the hotel at Thamel.

Now, on the second day, you will possess a ticket for a tourist bus to Syabrubesi. After 7 – 8 hours of driving, you reach Syabrubesi. It is the initial point from where your marching begins.

Likewise, on the 9th day, your final station of Langtang Valley Trekking ends at Syabrubesi. On the same day, you must get back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Then on the last day, one of our frontmen will drop you at the international airport for your departure.

3. Safety measures during the trek regarding COVID

As living lives are immensely getting the target of COVID-19 since late 2019, there are some measure steps to follow against it. At the period of your departure from your country, you must possess a negative PCR test result within 72 hours before departure.

Likewise, if you get a positive outcome, then your entry gets denied. However, get your PCR test done with quarantine and receive a negative PCR outcome for the reentry.

4. Altitude Sickness and Proper Acclimatization
