After enjoying a hot breakfast, you’ll go on a guided tour of Kathmandu Valley’s historic and cultural landmarks, all recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Your tour will include Kathmandu Durbar Square, home to the living goddess Kumari, the Boudhanath Stupa, the Pashupatinath Hindu temple, and the Swayambhunath temple, also known as the Monkey Temple, which is important to both Hindus and Buddhists. You’ll spend the night at your hotel.

After a seven-hour drive from Kathmandu, we reach Pokhara, the stunning lake city that serves as the starting point for treks in the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri regions. Pokhara is a vibrant blend of various ethnic groups and cultures. A highlight of Pokhara is Phewa Lake, which provides spectacular views of the Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri mountains reflected in the lake’s waters.

Take a taxi from Pokhara to Dhampus Phedi, which is about a 30-minute drive. From there, you’ll start a two-hour uphill trek to Dhampus village. Dhampus is a distinctive Gurung village nestled in the green hills with a stunning view of Mt. Fishtail and Annapurna South in the backdrop. After Dhampus, you’ll continue your ascent to Australian Camp, walking through a beautiful rhododendron forest for about an hour. The journey to Australian Camp is both scenic and rewarding.

The trek from Australian Camp to Sarangkot takes you atop a hill, offering a unique experience that, while not in the remote parts of Nepal, is universally captivating. As you descend towards Sarangkot, passing through communities of the Brahmin and Chhetri people, you’ll gain a fresh perspective on these tribes, distinct from the well-known Mongolian tribes of Nepal. Upon ascending to Sarangkot, you’ll be greeted with a breathtaking view of Fewa Lake and the lakeside of Pokhara, reminiscent of a romantic painting. Take the opportunity to capture some sunset memories and enjoy some drinks as you take in the beautiful surroundings.

Wake up early, around 5:30 AM, and make your way to a viewpoint, the pinnacle of your trip, to witness the magnificent sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Sarangkot is renowned as one of the most visited spots for both locals and international visitors, famous for its breathtaking views.
After experiencing the sunrise at Sarangkot, head back to your lodge for breakfast. Then, embark on a descent that offers sweeping views of Phewa Lake and the Pokhara valley. Spend the rest of the day exploring the beautiful city of Pokhara, where you will stay overnight.

After breakfast, we’ll embark on an 8 to 9-hour drive back to Kathmandu on a tourist bus, taking a break midday for lunch along the Prithvi Highway. Upon arriving in Kathmandu in the evening, you’ll have free time for shopping or can seek assistance from your guide for any activities you wish to do. You’ll spend the night at the hotel.

Today marks the conclusion of your journey in Nepal. It’s time to say Namaste and bid farewell. Perhaps you’re already considering your next adventure with Peregrine. Until your flight departs, you can spend your time shopping or exploring. Given Kathmandu’s heavy traffic, we recommend leaving the hotel 3 hours before your flight time. We’ll arrange for your transfer to the airport in a local vehicle, ensuring you arrive well in time for your departure.

We will be accommodated at Hotel Thamel Park or a similar hotel in Kathmandu. For Pokhara, we will be provided with Teeka resort and local tea houses during the trek. The accommodations are made on a twin-sharing basis. Single supplements can be served upon request but will cost an extra USD 250. However, only a room cannot be possible sometimes during higher elevations. In the trekking area, most of your accommodations contain attached bathrooms, while some of the teahouses may not have, and you may have to share the washing and toilet facilities in that case.
During the trek, we have various options in cuisines like Nepali, Chinese, Italian, Continental, Indian, etc. Breakfast will be served from the tea houses or the lodge’s menu, and we will have our lunches on the way to our destination. There will be welcome and farewell dinners with our trekkers.

Vaccinations You must be completely vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days before traveling to Nepal. Vaccination documentation is required.
On Arrival Visas are available at Nepal's entrance points for travelers. Travelers from Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Syria, on the other hand, are required to obtain a visa through their nearest Nepalese diplomatic post (embassy/consulate).
To confirm the trek/tour package, we want a deposit of at least 20% of the total tour/trek fee. The remaining balance must be paid when you arrive in Nepal. We take Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express, and other major credit cards. The total cost of a Bhutan and Tibet tour must be paid in full at the time of booking.
We strongly advise you to purchase a SIM card for reliable internet access throughout Nepal. Nepal Telecom (owned by the government) and NCELL (owned by the private sector) are the two main SIM card providers in Nepal. It is preferable to get a SIM card at an airport, where staff will assist with activation and data plan purchases. If you have a SIM card, it will be easier for you to contact us and locate our airport agent.
You can charge your electrical devices at hotels and lodges because there are no power outages. In the Himalayan region, however, hotel owners may levy a nominal fee.
