The six Peregrine Hong Kong tour packages cover the same compact city from six different angles. The cultural heritage walk through Central and Sheung Wan. The two-park family circuit gives Disneyland and Ocean Park each its own full day. The luxury harbor cruise, with the evening light display activating at 20:00, and the culinary circuit with a food specialist at every meal. Hong Kong’s attractions sit close together. The planning decisions that make the difference are the ones a guide has made many times. The six packages below map directly to six kinds of travelers.

Traveling with children aged 3 to 14: The 6-Day Family Holiday Package gives Disneyland and Ocean Park each a full, dedicated day. The 5-Day City Discovery Tour covers three distinct geographic zones in a logical sequence. Days 1 and 2 on Hong Kong Island: Victoria Peak before the queue builds, Man Mo Temple, and the Star Ferry crossing. Day 3 in Kowloon: Wong Tai Sin Temple, the Mong Kok market circuit, and the evening waterfront. Days 4 and 5 on Lantau Island: the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car and the Tian Tan Buddha.
A licensed specialist guide accompanies you for three days. Octopus Card transport and route instructions handle the self-guided days. Base hotel: The Mira Hong Kong or equivalent 4-star hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui.
The 6-Day Family Holiday Package is built around one structural rule. Disneyland and Ocean Park each get their own full dedicated day. Day 3 is Disneyland: eight themed lands, including World of Frozen and Mystic Manor (exclusive to Hong Kong, no height restriction). Day 4 is Ocean Park: six giant pandas, including twin cubs Jia Jia and De De (born in Hong Kong in August 2024). The 1.4 km cable car crosses the South China Sea ridge.
The remaining days cover Victoria Peak, the Star Ferry, the Tian Tan Buddha, and Lantau at a pace that works for children. Base hotel: Harbor Grand Kowloon (27-meter outdoor pool, separate children’s pool).
The 4-Day Culinary Food Tour pairs you with a licensed Cantonese food specialist for every meal over four days. The guide is a practitioner who knows the specific stalls, tea-houses, and roast-meat shops where each tradition is best represented at the current moment.
The tour covers dim sum yum cha at a Kowloon tea house (the full ordering system explained). Char siu from the Sham Shui Po roast-meat street on Kweilin Street. Wonton noodle soup at the Central benchmark. The cha chaan teng breakfast tradition. The Temple Street Night Market stall circuit. A Lamma Island live-tank seafood dinner by evening ferry.
The 5-Day Luxury Harbor and Heritage Tour offers access to Hong Kong’s most distinctive experiences. Day 2 begins with a private car to the Peak Tram at 05:15 for the pre-dawn summit view. Breakfast at the Peak Lookout follows. A specialist architectural historian leads the colonial Central heritage walk: the 1912 Court of Final Appeal, the Norman Foster HSBC Building, and Man Mo Temple.
The evening is at T’ang Court at The Langham Hong Kong. Three Michelin stars. Traditional Cantonese. Reserved by Peregrine. Day 3 is a private junk charter on Victoria Harbor, positioned for the evening light display. Base hotels: The Peninsula, Rosewood Hong Kong, or Kowloon Shangri-La.
The 6-Day Combined Tour gives each SAR the time it deserves. Three nights in Hong Kong for the primary city circuit. Two nights in Macau for a colonial experience entirely different in language, architecture, cuisine, and character.
The Macau section covers Senado Square, the Ruins of St. Paul’s (the Jesuit facade completed around 1640), Taipa Village, and Coloane Village (Lord Stow’s Bakery, the car-free fishing-village pace). A traditional Macanese lunch anchors the food experience: African chicken, minchi, and pasteis de nata. The ferry in both directions is included. Day 6 returns via the Macau Taipa Ferry Terminal directly to Hong Kong International Airport.
Macau hotel: Pousada de São Tiago (boutique, 12 suites, built into a 17th-century Portuguese fortress). Important: the Pousada has no elevator. The hotel is not suitable for guests with significant mobility limitations.
The 4-Day Budget Explorer Circuit covers the essential Hong Kong experience at the most accessible price point in the Peregrine suite. Two guided days handle the heritage circuit and the market-and-night-market sequence. Days 1 and 4 are self-guided with Octopus Card transport and written route instructions.
The base hotel is a 4-star property in Kowloon, in the Mong Kok or Jordan area. The MTR is faster here than at a Harbourfront location at a meaningfully lower rate. The package does not include theme parks or the Ngong Ping Cable Car, which can be added independently.

The Peak Tram lower terminus on weekend afternoons between 14:00 and 18:00 carries queues of 45 to 90 minutes in peak season. Peregrine’s guided days begin with a visit to Victoria Peak at 07:30. Private car from the hotel.—Arrival at Garden Road before 08:00. On the tram before any queue forms. The guide’s knowledge of timing eliminates one of the most common sources of wasted hours in Hong Kong.
T’ang Court at The Langham Hong Kong (three Michelin stars, traditional Cantonese) books 3 to 4 weeks in advance for weekend evenings. Self-arranged travelers who dine at T’ang Court on the day of arrival will not be guaranteed a table. Peregrine’s coordinator initiates the reservation the same week the package is confirmed. The table exists before you board your flight.
Most self-arranged itineraries attempt to combine both parks on consecutive half-days or on the same day. Both parks require 6 to 7 hours for a meaningful visit. The parks are in different locations. The transit between them takes 60 to 90 minutes. The Family Holiday Package gives each park its own full day as a structural rule.
Cantonese cooking uses oyster sauce, pork lard, and dried shrimp in dishes that appear vegetarian from the name. A traveler who communicates dietary requirements to Peregrine at booking has every guided meal pre-arranged. A self-arranged traveler must communicate the same requirements to every restaurant individually, in Cantonese.
Most passport holders enter Hong Kong without a traditional visa. UK: 180 days visa-free. USA, EU, Canada, Australia, New Zealand: 90 days visa-free. No nationality is eligible for a visa on arrival. Pre-travel documentation must be confirmed at immd.gov.hk for your specific passport.
Indian nationals do not need a traditional Hong Kong visa for stays of up to 14 days. The free Pre-Arrival Registration (PAR) is the correct entry mechanism. Complete the registration online at immd.gov.hk in approximately 5 minutes. Print the PAR Notification Slip and carry it with the same passport used for registration. The PAR is valid for 6 months and allows multiple 14-day visits. For stays of more than 14 days, a full Hong Kong Entry Visa is required.
The Octopus Card is the universal transport and payment card for Hong Kong. Accepted on all MTR trains, buses, ferries, the Star Ferry, the Peak Tram, the Ngong Ping Cable Car, and most convenience stores. Buy one at the Airport Express arrival hall on the way out of the airport. Every Peregrine package uses Octopus Card transport on self-guided days.
October to December is the optimal window. —clear weather at 18 to 25 degrees Celsius. June to September is typhoon season. Typhoon Signal 8 closures shut all attractions for 12 to 36 hours. Chinese New Year (late January or February) brings the year’s most dramatic cultural atmosphere and the highest hotel rates.
Every Peregrine Hong Kong package includes a private transfer from Hong Kong International Airport to the hotel. The Airport Express runs 24 minutes to Hong Kong Station. Taxis from the airport to Tsim Sha Tsui take approximately 35 to 45 minutes.

What is the best Hong Kong tour package for first-time visitors?
The 5-Day City Discovery Tour covers Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and Lantau Island in a logical sequence. Five days is the optimal first-visit length. The package uses a licensed local guide on three days and self-guided transport with written route instructions on the other two.
How many days should a Hong Kong tour package include?
Three days is the minimum for a meaningful visit. Five days is optimal for a first visit, adding an outlying island and one theme park. Seven days include the New Territories and a day trip to Macau. The Peregrine suite starts at four days (Budget Explorer) and goes to six days (Family Holiday or Hong Kong and Macau Combined Tour).
Do Indian nationals need a visa for Hong Kong?
No traditional visa is required for stays of up to 14 days. Indian nationals must complete a free Pre-Arrival Registration (PAR) online at immd.gov.hk. The process takes approximately 5 minutes. Approval is usually instant. Print the PAR Notification Slip and carry it with the same passport used for registration. For stays of more than 14 days, a full Hong Kong Entry Visa is required.
Can Disneyland and Ocean Park be done on the same day?
No. Each park requires at least 6-7 hours. The parks are in different locations. Disneyland is on Lantau Island (40 to 45 minutes from Kowloon). Ocean Park is on the southern side of Hong Kong Island (about 35 to 40 minutes away). The transit between them takes 60 to 90 minutes. The Family Holiday Package gives each park its own full day.
What is included in Peregrine’s Hong Kong tour packages?
All packages include a private airport transfer, a hotel with daily breakfast, tickets to key attractions, a licensed guide, and a 24/7 ground coordinator. Specific inclusions vary. The Luxury Tour includes the private junk charter and T’ang Court reservation. The Family Holiday includes tickets to Disneyland and Ocean Park.
Is the Hong Kong and Macau Combined Tour worth doing?
Yes, for travelers with enough days and who have not visited Macau before. The two cities sit 60 km apart by ferry (55 to 65 minutes)—different languages, different colonial architecture, different cuisines. A trip covering both gives a comparison of two divergent colonial histories that no other paired destination in Asia offers.
The correct next step is a conversation. Which package matches your travel dates, group size, children’s ages, and any dietary or mobility considerations? Peregrine’s Hong Kong packages are private (not group tours). The itinerary can be adjusted before booking. Send the travel dates and group composition, and the team will confirm availability within 24 hours.
