We began the day early, at 5:15 AM, by heading to the airport for a flight to Simikot. Upon arrival, we took a few hours to rest and acclimate. At 9:00 AM, We boarded a helicopter to Hilsa, experiencing the unique aspects of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by helicopter.
