Once your travel plans to Kailash are confirmed, the booking process requires a payment of INR 150,000 per person, accompanied by a passport-sized photograph and a copy of your passport. At least 30 days before the tour departure date, you must submit your original passport and five additional passport-sized pictures to our office in Delhi. Following your trip booking, we will provide the detailed office address and instructions for submitting your original passport.
The visa processing time typically takes approximately four working days. For travelers residing outside India, it is necessary to arrive in Delhi to obtain the Chinese Group Visa, which requires a stay of at least four official days to complete the process.
Before the pandemic, the China Tibet Pilgrimage Service (CIPS) issued the Tibet Travel Permit. However, the Chinese Foreign Affairs Office will issue the permit starting this year. The cost of the permit is USD 1,435 per person. This fee is required to secure the Tibet Travel Permit for bookings made through agencies outside of India. If your permit application is rejected for any reason, you will receive a full refund of your initial deposit amount.
Please note that once the Tibet Travel Permit has been issued, any cancellation of your travel plans will result in the forfeiture of the INR 150000. This amount is non-refundable. To ensure your opportunity to visit Tibet in 2025, we strongly encourage you to book your trip as soon as possible. You will stay in guesthouses in Mansarovar, Dirapuk, and Zutulpuk, where no hotels are available. If you wish to upgrade your accommodation to a 5-star hotel in Kathmandu, an additional INR 35,000 will be added to the package price.
