Everest View Trek Itinerary

Airport Representative of Peregrine treks will receive you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The itinerary and travel plan will be discussed with the tour leader and the trekking guides of the Peregrine Treks. Familiarization activities will take place.

Meals: Not Included

An early morning flight will take you to Lukla the most extreme airport in the world The Tenzing-Hillary Airport. The joyous mountain flight of about 30 minutes provides spectacular mountain views and the hilly terrain of Nepal. Then three hours of walking in the trail passing by the splendid landscape of the Everest region will take you to the Phakding.

Note: The government of Nepal has declared that most of the flights to Lukla will start from Ramechhap until the next notice to avoid over traffic crowding in Kathmandu airport. The airport in Racechhap lies 130km far from Kathmandu, and it will take around 4-hours to reach there.

On the other hand, the helicopter can be charted for five persons on a sharing basis with the addition of USD 500 per person for a one-way flight. We will try to form up the group at the airport, but it can be guaranteed. However, flying to Lukla and drive to Ramechhap is always guaranteed unless any change in the program comes due to climate change.

The trekking from Phakding to Namche consists of slight uphill and everyday trail walking, and you should be prepared for the total uphill after lunch in Jorsalle. The trail will be the enthralling experience to walk on as the anticipation of the Everest coming nearer than ever overwhelms you. Accommodations

You will stay in Yatri Suites & Spa or Hotel Arts Kathmandu during your trek. A solo traveler needs to share the room with same-gender another traveler. If you need a single supplement, you will have to pay an additional cost of about USD 200. During the trek, most of your accommodations contain attached bathrooms, while some of the teahouses may not have and you may have to share the washing and toilet facilities in that case. Kathmandu and the trekking regions in lower elevation will have sing room facilities, but it will be hard to find them at higher elevations.

 

Meals

You will enjoy typical Nepalese food and international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, India, etc.) as well during your trek. Be sure that breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided by the lodges or teahouses as per their available menu. You may not be served breakfast somewhere during your trek. You may get opportunities for welcome and farewell dinners for guests.
