Our 10-Day Dubai and Maldives Tour pairs three private nights in Dubai with six nights on the Maldives islands. You see the city first. Then you fly nonstop to Malé and slow down on the beach.
The trip follows a simple order: explore, experience, relax. Dubai gives you heritage lanes, glass towers, and red desert dunes. The Maldives gives you a calm lagoon, house reef access, and an overwater villa.
In Dubai, you stay at The First Collection Waterfront, a 4-star deluxe hotel overlooking the Dubai Canal in Business Bay. A private driver handles your transfers in Dubai. An English-speaking local guide joins you for the Day 2 city tour of Old Dubai, the souks, and Burj Khalifa.
A private 4×4 desert safari fills your Day 3 afternoon. You get dune bashing, sandboarding, a camel ride, and a BBQ dinner at a Bedouin-style camp.
On Day 4, you fly nonstop to Velana International Airport. The flight takes about 4 hours and 10 minutes, subject to schedule. A resort speedboat then carries you about 45 minutes to Sun Siyam Olhuveli in South Malé Atoll. You spend four nights in a Grand Beach Villa and two nights in a Grand Water Villa.
Half Board includes daily breakfast and dinner, in accordance with the resort’s applicable meal plan. Exact dining venues, reservations, and supplements depend on the current resort terms. Lunch and drinks are not part of Half Board.
The package suits couples, honeymooners, families, and first-time visitors to the Gulf and the Indian Ocean. The pace stays easy. Nothing on the route involves trekking or long hikes.
Peregrine plans the whole Dubai Maldives holiday as one private booking. You deal with one team for hotels, flights, transfers, and tours. For a single-country trip, our Dubai Tour Packages and Maldives Tour Packages offer shorter options.

Your Dubai and Maldives Tour starts at Dubai International Airport. A Peregrine representative meets you in the arrivals hall after customs. Look for a name board with your surname.
Private transfer: Your private driver takes you to Business Bay. The drive usually takes 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Hotel check-in: The First Collection Waterfront is a 4-star deluxe hotel overlooking the Dubai Canal in Business Bay. Standard check-in starts in the afternoon.
Early check-in is available on request, subject to availability and an extra charge. Tell us your arrival time when you book.
Tourism Dirham: Dubai charges a Tourism Dirham fee on every occupied hotel room. The rate is AED 15 per room per night, payable directly at the hotel. Your three nights come to AED 45 per room.
Evening: The rest of the day is free. Dinner is at your own expense, either in the hotel or in Business Bay.
Overnight: The First Collection Waterfront, Deluxe Room
Meals: None included on arrival day
Day 2 covers the old and new halves of the city with a private driver and an English-speaking local guide. Your guide meets you in the hotel lobby around 8:30 a.m. An early start beats the midday heat in the open-air lanes.
Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood: The drive to Bur Dubai takes about 20 minutes. Al Fahidi dates from the late 1800s. Its houses use coral stone, gypsum, and palm wood.
Look up at the square wind towers, called barjeel. Each tower catches the breeze and pushes cool air down into the rooms. Your guide explains how the narrow lanes create shade at street level.
Al Fahidi Fort stands at the edge of the district. The fort dates from 1787 and counts as the oldest building in Dubai.
Abra ride: Next, you walk to the Bur Dubai abra station on Dubai Creek. The wooden abra boats cross to Deira in about five minutes. Cargo dhows still load and unload along the creek banks.
Spice Souk and Gold Souk: The Spice Souk starts a few steps from the Deira landing. Stalls sell saffron, frankincense, dried limes, and dried rose buds.
The Gold Souk sits a short walk away. Shops price gold by weight at the daily rate, plus a making charge for the design.
Lunch (at your own expense): Your guide can suggest Emirati cafés in the Al Fahidi area. Local dishes include machboos, a spiced rice dish, and luqaimat, sweet fried dumplings.
Afternoon photo stops: Your driver takes Sheikh Zayed Road past the main towers. You stop outside the Museum of the Future, a ring-shaped steel building covered in Arabic calligraphy. The drive then continues to Jumeirah for a photo stop at Burj Al Arab.
Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa: In the evening, you visit Dubai Mall and the At the Top observation decks on Levels 124 and 125. Plan about 60 to 90 minutes for security, the elevator ride, and the decks.
Your standard ticket uses a timed slot outside the sunset peak. Sunset slots cost more, so we offer them as an optional upgrade. Our Things to Do in Dubai page lists more evening options nearby.
Overnight: The First Collection Waterfront, Deluxe Room
Meals: Breakfast
Day 3 is split between a free morning and a private desert evening. You get a slow start, then the dunes at sunset.
Morning options: Enjoy breakfast and the hotel facilities. Dubai Mall and the city beaches are just a short taxi ride away. Morning transport and activities are at your own expense.
Safari pickup: Your private 4×4 collects you from the hotel in the afternoon. The pickup time moves with the season because the program follows sunset. The drive to the red dunes takes about 45 to 60 minutes.
Dune drive and sandboarding: At the desert edge, your safari driver lowers the tire pressure for better grip on sand. Then the dune drive begins, with climbs and side slides across the ridges.
Next comes sandboarding on a dune slope. The driver also stops for sunset photos on a high ridge.
Safety note: Dune bashing can feel rough on the body. Eat a light lunch beforehand. Tell us about back, neck, pregnancy, or other medical concerns before booking.
Camp and BBQ dinner: After sunset, you drive to a Bedouin-style camp. You get a short camel ride, Arabic coffee, and dates. Dinner is a BBQ buffet with grilled meats, salads, and flatbread.
Tell us about dietary needs or food allergies when you book. Our Dubai Desert Safari guide covers the other safari formats.
Return: You arrive back at the hotel in the evening. Desert evenings get cool from December to February, so pack a light layer.
Lower-priced option: A shared-premium desert safari reduces the package price. You share the vehicle, but the activities stay similar.
Overnight: The First Collection Waterfront, Deluxe Room
Meals: Breakfast, BBQ Dinner
Day 4 moves you from the city to the island. You fly nonstop to Malé and transfer to the resort by speedboat.
Airport transfer: Enjoy breakfast, then check out. Your private driver takes you to Dubai International Airport in time for your flight. The drive takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
Flight: The nonstop Dubai–Malé flight takes about 4 hours 10 minutes, subject to schedule. The package includes economy class. We confirm the airline and times once your flight is booked.
Customs note: Maldives customs does not allow alcohol imports. Do not bring alcohol from Dubai Duty Free.
Arrival in Malé: Set your watch one hour ahead. The Maldives runs on GMT+5, and Dubai runs on GMT+4. At immigration, show your passport and your Traveller Declaration QR code.
After baggage claim, a Sun Siyam representative meets you at Velana International Airport.
Speedboat to the resort: The speedboat ride to South Malé Atoll takes about 45 minutes. The resort coordinates the speedboat transfer according to its operating schedule and your flight arrival time. Transfer arrangements are confirmed before travel.
Check-in: You check into your Grand Beach Villa. The villa is beachfront and covers 80 m².
Dinner: Half Board includes daily breakfast and dinner according to the resort’s applicable meal plan. Exact dining venues, reservations and supplements depend on the current resort terms.
Overnight: Sun Siyam Olhuveli, Grand Beach Villa
Meals: Breakfast (Dubai), Dinner (Maldives)
Day 5 is a free day on the beach and the reef. Nothing runs on a schedule. The first full day works best as a rest day after two travel days.
House reef snorkeling: You have access to the resort’s house reef. Resort staff explain the safe entry and exit points. Follow the marked swim zones and always snorkel with a partner.
Gear and diving: Ask the water sports center how your meal plan covers snorkel gear. The resort’s dive center offers introductory dives and guided dives at extra cost.
Pools and beach: Sun Siyam Olhuveli has eight large swimming pools across its islands. Spend the day between your villa terrace, the beach, and the pools.
Evening: Watch the sunset from the beach, then head to dinner. Our Things to Do in the Maldives page lists more reef and island ideas.
Optional: Dolphin cruise, fishing trip, sunset cruise, diving, or a spa treatment. Optional activities are subject to availability and additional cost.
Overnight: Sun Siyam Olhuveli, Grand Beach Villa
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Day 6 stays open for island leisure. Pick a mix of water, spa, and beach time.
Water sports: The resort’s large lagoon suits kayaking and paddleboarding. Ask the water sports center which activities your plan covers before you book a session.
Spa time: The resort runs three spas, including an overwater spa. Treatments mix Western and Eastern therapies. Book in advance during high season.
Local island visit (optional): A local island trip shows you everyday Maldivian life, with a mosque, a school, and small shops. Dress modestly and cover shoulders and knees. Alcohol is not allowed on inhabited islands.
Resort costs: Resort menu prices usually exclude a 10% service charge and 17% tourism tax. Check your bill for these items when you order extras.
Evening: Dinner is included under Half Board, according to the resort’s applicable meal plan.
Overnight: Sun Siyam Olhuveli, Grand Beach Villa
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Day 7 brings the main villa change of your Dubai and Maldives Tour. You move from the beach to the lagoon.
Morning: Enjoy breakfast and a last morning on the beach. Pack your bags after breakfast. Resort staff collect the luggage and move it to your new villa.
The move: Your Grand Water Villa sits on Dream Island, one of the resort’s three connected islands. Your villa is usually ready in the afternoon.
Your water villa: The Grand Water Villa covers 100 m² and has a furnished terrace over the lagoon. The villa provides direct lagoon access from its private deck. Follow the resort’s swimming and water-safety guidance.
Family safety: The deck opens directly onto open lagoon water. Children should stay under adult supervision on the deck at all times.
Evening: Watch the sunset from your deck, then head to dinner under your Half Board plan.
Overnight: Sun Siyam Olhuveli, Grand Water Villa
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Day 8 has no fixed sightseeing. You spend it on the lagoon, in the spa, or on your deck.
Morning: Swim from your villa deck, following the resort’s water-safety guidance. Or relax at one of the resort pools.
Spa: Sun Siyam Olhuveli runs three spas, including an overwater spa on Dream Island. Couples’ treatments suit honeymooners and anniversary trips. Spa treatments cost extra.
Snorkeling: Snorkel the house reef or the lagoon edge. Keep your distance from coral and never stand on it.
Diving: Guests planning to dive should follow the current guidance of the resort’s certified dive centre and recognized diving-safety authorities and allow sufficient time between diving and flying.
Optional afternoon: Book a sunset cruise on a traditional dhoni. Or arrange a private dinner through the resort. Both cost extra.
Overnight: Sun Siyam Olhuveli, Grand Water Villa
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Day 9 is your last full day, and you choose the format. Optional activities are subject to availability and additional cost.
Option 1, resort day: Stay on the resort and rest. Swim, read on the deck, and enjoy the beach.
Option 2, sandbank excursion: A boat takes you to a sandbank in the open lagoon for swimming, snorkeling, and photos.
Option 3, dolphin cruise: A boat trip looks for dolphins in the surrounding waters, subject to schedule and sea conditions.
Option 4, diving: Guests planning to dive should follow the current guidance of the resort’s certified dive centre and recognized diving-safety authorities and allow sufficient time between diving and flying.
Option 5, spa: Book a final treatment at one of the resort’s spas.
Option 6, private beach dinner: The resort arranges a private dinner on the beach. Book it in advance.

The Dubai and Maldives Tour keeps the high-value experiences and cuts the costliest room nights. You get premium comfort without five-star Dubai rates or ultra-luxury resort prices.
You stay in a 4-star deluxe Business Bay hotel instead of a five-star tower. The location still puts Downtown Dubai within a short drive.
Private airport transfers, a private driver, and a local guide for the Day 2 city tour are included in the package. You never wait for other travelers or shared pickups.
Burj Khalifa and the desert safari are included in the price. You skip the extra cost of Level 148, but you still reach Levels 124 and 125.
